Aidan Whitman Baker
NYC Creative Producer and Director
Aidan Whitman Baker is a Brooklyn based filmmaker, composer, and actor. He was born and raised in New York, growing up in the casting world, and a graduate of the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts, where he received his BFA in Film Production with a specialty in directing.
He enjoys weaving tales of drama, romance, tragedy, and fantasy. His passion for deep emotion in his work are shown not only through his films, but also in his acting and music composition.
From the moment he was accidentally shown the opening of Lord of the Rings at age four (due to a miscommunication between his parents, of course), Aidan knew that telling stories would encompass his life. Throughout his childhood he pursued this drive in a variety of roles in front of and behind the camera, leading him to pursue a higher education of the medium.
Since graduating, he has been working in New York and Los Angeles on various film/television projects. Coupled with his work as an actor, Aidan hopes to bring his own tales to life and assist others with their own personal endeavors.

Produced $40k commercial launch video for shoe product in NYC. Location scouting/locking, insurance, call sheets, on-set logistics, catering, time management. Worked through prep/production/post.
PRODUCTION MANAGER (APPLE MUSIC)

Organized catering for 25 person crew within budget, transportation, deliveries, pickups/returns logistics. Running set, delegating duties to PA’s. Keeping clients informed, managing A-List talent, point of contact for all locations info/communication, record label, management etc.
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (COMMERCIAL)

Brand-side PC. Oversaw coordinating the shoot of 40+ out of state commercial spots, booking talent, shoot prep, travel/accommodations. Only producer on set, coordinating talent transportation and on-set logistics. Worked with marketing team in development meetings, created pitch-decks for social media content/interim social media manager. Worked with department heads to create schedules for all shoot days, transportation plans, and on- set safety. Provided transportation for all crew to and from location, locked locations, coordinated hiring of additional PA’s/ replacement crew for set work/ returns.

Producer ‘In Your Sheets’ (short), jury nominee @ NFFTY, worked with 2 Intimacy Coordinators to precisely plan out all intimate moments/stunts. Co-Producer ‘Girlhood’ (short), call sheets, extras coordinating, minor’s time agreements, locations, transportation plans, 50+ extras.

Set PA, 1st Team, passenger van driver, returns, EQ assistance, crafty, meal prep, on set assistance. Worked as PA on many commercials, indie films, music videos and day play on doc-features. Duties ranging from driving production vehicles, to assisting G&E, to crafty. A lot of experience with first team.
